Community Spring Clean – May 4th, 2024

Thank you to Spring Clean-Up Volunteers!

The weather finally cooperated for the Horseshoe Valley Property Owners Association’s annual spring clean-up. It was a beautiful day on Saturday and we had about 25 volunteers, both adults and children out to enjoy the weather and help clean up garbage left in our community.

There were several notable items of garbage collected during the morning clean up including a discarded tire, scrap metal, numerous empty bottles of water and spirits and even some other items that would be classified as X-rated, and we would rather not mention exactly what they might be.

2023 December Events

Candlelight Stroll

Date: Friday, December 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Please join our friends and neighbours for the 2023 Candlelight Stroll at 7:00 PM on Friday December 8th, starting at the south end of Landscape Dr.

You’re welcome to bring your family, friends and pets.

The organizers wish to thank Susan and Jason Holman of Tim Horton’s, Sarah and Jason Frank of Foodland, Eric Harkonen of Vetta and all volunteers for their generous help and support.

We encourage strollers to bring sleigh bells to make the stroll more magical.

Parking is limited so we also encourage everyone to walk to the event if possible.

This year we will have song performers prior to the stroll.

Donations of pet food and cash would be appreciated.
