Candlelight Stroll

Date: Friday, December 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Please join our friends and neighbours for the 2023 Candlelight Stroll at 7:00 PM on Friday December 8th, starting at the south end of Landscape Dr.

You’re welcome to bring your family, friends and pets.

The organizers wish to thank Susan and Jason Holman of Tim Horton’s, Sarah and Jason Frank of Foodland, Eric Harkonen of Vetta and all volunteers for their generous help and support.

We encourage strollers to bring sleigh bells to make the stroll more magical.

Parking is limited so we also encourage everyone to walk to the event if possible.

This year we will have song performers prior to the stroll.

Donations of pet food and cash would be appreciated. 

We will also be holding a raffle for 2 separate passes to Vetta Spa (Complimentary Spa entry Monday-Thursday)

Tickets will be $5.00 or 3 for $10.00

All funds raised will be given to the OSPCA and Feline Fix

Date: Wednesday, November 29th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Toy Drive

Date: Friday, December. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The drive through drop-off location is once again at Fire Station 3, 3375 Line 4 Oro-Medonte.

We are in need of toys for children ages 0-13

Activities for both boys and girls are always popular – craft kits, science kits, lego and toboggans .

Annual Food Drive

Date: Sunday, December 3, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The drive through, drop-off location is also at Fire Station 3 on Line 4.

Remember for those that prefer, we will accept cash and cheque donations and we will have a tap machine for your use.

The Salvation Army provided the following lists of most needed items.

FOOD ITEMS NEEDED:

Peanut butter jam

Canned fruit canned vegetables

Canned meat kraft dinner

Rice canned pasta

Pasta sauce pasta

Stove top stuffing sidekicks

Kidney beans brown beans

Toiletries: toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, Kleenex, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, body

wash, bars of soap.

Household: laundry soap, fabric softener, fabric sheets, dish soap, bathroom cleaners.
